'Almita' is 26ft LOA She has a lifting keel yacht with a spoon bow and counter stern and is rigged as a gaff cutter. Centreplate drops down through a ballast keel she only draws 2ft 6ins, when it's raised. 25ft Classic Bermudan Sloop by Uphams,1939
January 2025 Priced Reduced to £9,750 This beautiful Classic sailing yacht has a wonderful pedigree. In her very early years, she was attributed to Harrison Butler, most likely mistaken for a Z4 tonner. Her design is rightly attributed to JW& A Uphams of Brixham, who developed her during and after the war from 1939. She is recognised as a prototype for the Waterbug Class of which 16 were built.
