The Concorde 41 is a well thought out, high quality production yacht from a company whose roots are in the large yacht manufacturing business. The collaboration with the Setzer Design Group has produced a beautiful and highly functional vessel that can serve as a weekend cruiser or megayacht tender.

Layout

Sleeps 3-4 in two cabins. The master cabin is forward with a raised double bed running fore and aft. There is a hanging locker to starboard and the master head is aft to port.


Aft to starboard is the well equipped galley with two burner glass top range, microwave, high-polished stainless steel sink, and double top loading refrigerators which can also be used as freezers.


Opposite to port is a nav station and just aft is a single pilot berth which is isolated from the main cabin by the main bulkhead.


Aft and up a few steps is the enclosed helm area with pedestal mounted helm and companion seats. Under the companion seat is a refrigerator drawer while the helm seat to starboard has storage under.


Next aft is the main salon banquette to port with a pedestal mounted table for dining. There is an icemaker opposite.


Both the lower galley and sleeping level and the upper helm and salon area have air conditioning and reverse cycle heat. The woodwork finish is extremely nice throughout using a combination of teak, mahogany, and high gloss finishes. Countertops are granite or hi-gloss finished wood while the cabin soles are teak and holly inside, teak and Thiokol on the helm deck as are the exterior decks. Four opening hatches, three above the lower lever and one above the helm enables natural ventilation when desired.

General Comments

The Concorde 41 is both pleasing to the eye and solidly built. The design was conceived to deliver maximum comfort both dockside and underway, capable of cruising at 20-25 knots with ease. Her clean lines and fine woodwork both inside and out are reminiscent of custom yacht building at its best.
