We are offering for sale our 2008 Chaparral 250 Signature Cruiser so that we can upgrade to a Chaparral 290 Signature Cruiser. Our 250 has low hours on the engine and is in excellent like new condition (we love and pamper our boat), has been Marina maintained and kept since our purchase of her "new" in April of 2009.
Currently she is on her trailer, had her bottom and outdrive cleaned by the Marina, and is covered with a new reusable Transhield Boat cover for the winter months. She has almost all of the upgrades a boat can have excluding AC/heat. If she doesn't sell, we will be adding that for this coming boating season. In addition to the factory upgrades, we added a 545 Garmin GPS Chartplotter with a transducer for providing water depth and fish finding. We also added a removable Stainless Steel 17" Magma Party sized Marine Kettle grill, it got a lot of use this past boating season, a must have for sure. She also has upgraded house batteries and a 600 watt inverter so that the microwave can be used while not connected to shore power.
She has a Volvo 5.7L GI MPI 1.95-DP (300HP) engine that has a 2 + 2 year transferable warranty, so 4 full years. We have gotten great gas mileage with this engine and cruise comfortably at 28 miles per hour, she can reach 40-41 mph fully loaded too. I have the Spec sheet as well as lots of photos that I can email to whomever is interested in our boat. We are asking $73,000.00, which is less than what we paid for her.
